Job: Faithful in Suffering
We will attempt to answer the age-old question of why God allows suffering in some people's lives. Job's story gives us a little perspective, a peek behind the spiritual curtain, if you will, as to perhaps why God might allow us to undergo the stress and strain of suffering in this life.

This week we will close out our short trip through the Book of Job.  And here is the question that we all want to know, especially as we encounter difficult times: "How do we find Restoration in Suffering?"  At the end of the day, we will discover that restoration begins with our repentance and in the restoration of those that we reach through the Gospel. It is amazing to see how God can use our story, our suffering, to loosen the grip of Satan on the lives of others and restore what the enemy has broken.

This Sunday, we will highlight how God responds to our suffering. Our response when we are suffering is typically to ask God "why."

If we were to ask others why they think we are suffering, we would probably get various and sundry answers based on their experiences. But the real question is how does God respond when we suffer? This Sunday, we will look at God's response to Job and learn that He cares about our struggles, is with us in them, and that we can trust in Him.
