Resources for Parents During This Time of Online Church
To support our parents and children as much as possible during this unprecedented time, our Footsteps children’s ministry is making available resources each week to help ensure kids can continue to learn about the Lord and the Bible. The tools include videos, devotionals and parent guides that can be used to facilitate children’s worship and spiritual conversations at home throughout the week and on Sunday during this time when we are having to do church online. A new video will be posted each week on Wednesdays and the resources for Sunday worship and follow-up will be posted on Fridays. In addition, all videos can be found on YouTube under the Footsteps for Kids playlist Please contact Rae Tyler Caggiula with any questions. Email Rae

(Week of July 5, 2020)
The Parable of the Good Samaritan teaches us to understand the importance of caring not only for those we love but for those who are different than us and harder to love. Please watch the short video with your children this week and ask questions to reinforce the message. You can click on the image above to watch the video.
We Value Children, Just As Jesus Taught Us In Matthew 19:14.
We hope that your child has FUN when they visit us, and most importantly, that we can start them on a path to become Fully Devoted to Jesus. Our goals include providing a God-Centered, Intentional, and Safe environment for your child. We want to work with you as your child grows and develops so that they will have a deepening understanding of God and the Bible. Using lots of creativity and activities that connect with each age group, we want their understanding to be practical—applying to their lives and relationships right where they are today.
Called Footsteps, our children’s ministry is blessed with an abundance of caring and gifted servants, who love to open the Word of God and teach children about Jesus. Everyone serving with our children has complied with a safety and security program, as well as a background check.
Contact MC3 Children’s Minister Rae Caggiula at 770-597-2523 or by email if you have any questions. She would love to meet you and share more info about the Footsteps Ministry at MC3.
Check-In: For your child to attend any of our children’s programming on the weekend, first-time guests will need to check in their child by filling out a registration card. To save time, click here to register your children for check-in ahead of time.
Sunday Mornings @ 10:30am
Nursery (Birth to 23 months)
Staff and volunteers gently rock babies and lead fun activities for toddlers. Our nursery is a fun place where babies and toddlers play and hear stories about Jesus.
Beginner’s Worship (Ages 2 and 3)
You’re never to young to learn about Jesus. Children enjoy playing games, listening to Bible stories, singing songs and doing age-appropriate activities
Wee Worship (4K- 5K children)
Wee Worship is an interactive worship gathering designed for 4- and 5-year-olds to experience the love of Jesus. Our time together includes music, dancing, crafts, drama, games, a snack and of course, an awesome Bible story! Our team promises to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child to have fun and learn about God’s Word.
KidsTime (1st-5th grade students)
KidsTime is a large-group experience that engages elementary-age students in worship through relevant, age-appropriate, high-energy activities that include singing, drama presentation, prayer and Bible teaching time. Kids also have the opportunity to take communion as an act of worship and are reminded that communion is for those who have made a decision to follow Christ and have been baptized.
We encourage our parents to discuss this with their children and decide when it is time for them to start participating in communion. We also collect an offering during KidsTime. Our entire offering goes to support SOAR Ministries, a mission partner focused on short-term mission trips.
We have a strong team of adult leaders who host KidsTime each week, as well as a group of outstanding student leaders who assist and serve as mentors to the younger children.
Sunday Mornings @ 9:30am
Children’s (Connect) C-Groups (Age 4 – 5th grade)
Children’s Connect, or C-Groups, is a small group setting intended for the purpose of presenting a biblical lesson to children and giving them the opportunity to share with one another how that biblical theme applies to their lives. Our C-Group classes often incorporate crafts and activity worksheets that support the Bible teaching, and always allow for individual participation and Bible exploration.
Nursery is provided for infants 6 weeks through age 3 during our C-Group sessions.
Our Children’s programming is led by our highly trained staff and servants, all of whom have passed background checks and have completed our service application process. To join our servant team, complete the application form.
