At MC3, Missions matter! The Missions Ministry plays an integral part in all that we do as a church. Missions are all around us. And we can engage these missions—and Get Going—in different ways:

Go – Serve in the mission field—short or long-term, local or abroad. We were meant to help each other and bring the Gospel with us.

Send – Empower and financially support those who have been called into service.

Pray – Lift up and intercede. Through your prayers, missionaries will be strengthened and you will become a part of God’s will to reach all people.

Learn – Educate yourself on how God is moving in your neighborhood and around the world. Information is a powerful tool.

Christian City

Christian City is a nondenominational, nonprofit organization with a mission to minister to the spiritual, physical, social and psychological needs of families, with particular emphasis on children, the aged and infirm, by providing residential, health and social services according to the principles and teachings of the Christian faith.

Christian City began in 1961 when a group of concerned citizens from area Christian Churches gathered to discuss certain needs in the community. Services provided include a Children’s Village, a thrift store, four subdivisions of patio homes for seniors in a “life lease” setting, four apartment complexes for seniors on limited incomes, a 200-bed rehabilitation and nursing center, a 200-bed assisted living/personal care home, and two specialty units for victims of Alzheimer’s Disease.

SOAR (Serving Others And Rejoicing) Ministries is an organization to facilitate customized short-term missions for churches, schools, college groups, and individuals. We also strive to encourage and partner with missionaries on the field to further the gospel and the understanding of the growing church around the world.

Besides facilitating short term missions for groups and individuals, SOAR started the Angel Bags Project in 2001 which delivers gift bags to central Mexico and Haiti. Emory Breadhouse

Watch 20th anniversary video

Bread Coffeehouse is a place unlike any other on campus…a place where good coffee flows freely, yummy treats are served daily, where residents and staff know your name, where you will be treated with love no matter what you believe, a place that never pushes Jesus on you but a place where the staff believes in serving Jesus by serving you and loving you. We have live bands, great dinners, quiet study times, deep conversations, great story tellers and people who will listen to you. And, we are a lot of fun! Come play ping pong or a board game, write quotes on the wall, swing in our indoor hammock, decorate a book page, play with our play dough or dance in the kitchen.
