- Art StansberrySenior Minister
Art Stansberry has served as Senior Minister of MC3 Church since March 2012. Previously, he served for eight years as the church’s Student Minister. Art is a faithful shepherd of the congregation and his biggest desire is to lead people into a relationship with Christ. He and his wife Christy, an assistant teacher at Greater Atlanta Christian School, have been married since 1994 and have two sons, Caleb and Landon.
- Will TylerStudent Pastor
I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and intended to pursue a career in that field. But God had other plans and called me to ministry. I have been the student pastor at MC3 since 2014. My wife Helena and I are honored to serve in this church and lead the young adult ministry. I love that we get to disciple, encourage and mentor the next generation of God's Church. I want all students to know three things: God is real, God loves them, and God has a plan for them. I also get to partner in ministry with the Parkview Christian Learning Center where I teach a class daily about what it looks like to walk with Christ. In my free time, I root for the Georgia Bulldogs, play a lot of Madden, go to my students games, and try new foods!
- Rae Tyler CaggiulaChildren's Minister
When I was 15, my one and only sibling, a sister, was born. It was the beginning of an incredible love I feel for children in general and sharing God with them specifically. I have a long—really long!—history of ministry service, including serving as the Children’s Minister at Mount Carmel Christian Church (the predecessor to MC3), as well as First Christian Church of Cumming, Christian Church of Buckhead, McDonough Christian Church, Snellville Christian Church and Crosspoint Christian Church. My goal is to help God’s treasured Word come alive for children, encourage them to follow in Jesus’ footsteps, and create wonderful memories. Each child is unique, special and a precious masterpiece from God. It is an honor, joy and privilege to serve them as we work in partnership with parents to train and instruct their children in the faith. The only thing we can truly promise parents is that we will love their children. On a personal note, I married Chip Caggiula in June 2019. Together, we have eight children and twelve grandchildren. Marrying Chip and accepting a new ministry within two months of that shows me God truly has a sense of humor and always has a plan for you! Finally, I love teaching God’s Word, reading, sunsets, angel ‘things,’ holidays, special events, ceiling fans, porches, fireplaces, and any day ending in “Y”!
- Leslie RileyWorship Minister
Leslie came to Mount Carmel just a few years ago and became involved in the modern worship service soon afterwards. He soon became the leader of the modern worship and is now the Worship Leader for the unified worship service.
- Jim BarberAdministrator
My family started attending MC3 Church in 1993 and I joined the staff in October 2017, a few months after retiring from a 38-year career with Georgia Power, Southern Company and news reporting. As administrator for the church, I do pretty much what nobody else wants to—overseeing budgets, facilities, the website, etc. Presently, I’m working with God and our staff to figure out where He wants our church home to be. I’m not a minister, but I do enjoy leading C-Groups and Bible studies. Outside of church, I love playing tennis, reading, writing (my first novel Plowed Fields was published in 2019) and climbing Stone Mountain almost every day. Becky and I have been married since 1984 and have three daughters, two son-in-laws and three grand dogs.
- Vicki CalhounChurch Secretary
My family started attending Mount Carmel Christian Church -- now MC3 Church--in 1970 and I joined the staff in 2003. I have loved hundreds of people who have been a part of our congregation throughout the years. My job responsibilities include maintaining our database of members, visitors and event attendees as well as classes and C-Groups. I maintain information regarding our sick and shut-ins, prayer requests, and make assignments for our prayer team. I enjoy working with our many volunteers and doing everyday tasks with the computer, printing and other office responsibilities. Dave and I have been married since 1981. We have two adult children who we raised in the Parkview school district. We have five grand dogs and two grand horses. Outside of church, I love doing anything that includes family and friends, including my parents, our son and his wife, and our daughter and her husband. My girlfriends are another important part of my life, and we take trips throughout the year to the beach, mountains and different retreats. I especially enjoy weekly life groups where we learn about the love Jesus Christ has for us all.
- Nancy DoddFinancial Secretary
I am the MC3 employee with the most tenure, having just celebrated 30 years of service in December 2019! I love taking care of the church’s finances—paying bills, handling payroll, preparing spreadsheets, producing General Ledger reports, etc. In addition to financials, I love proofing documents, emails, etc. My background: I was born in Kansas City, Missouri, but came south with my family when I was just a toddler. I grew up in Decatur, where I attended Decatur High School and Agnes Scott College. My husband Don and I raised three children in the Parkview school district and have two grandsons. We have attended MC3 Church (formerly Mount Carmel) for 30 years and have loved every minute of it!
- Keri DuncanVisual Technical Director
Keri has attended MC3 Church since birth and, among many other duties, manages our audio/visual needs. Her work ensures we are able to stream our Sunday worship services live each Sunday.
- Rich FaulknerSound Director
I am a native Californian born at Stanford University in Palo Alto. My childhood was spent in the Pacific Northwest, most of it living in our country home surrounded by strawberry and cornfields just outside Roy, Oregon. Flying and aviation were my earliest love. My first job was working at the local gliderport at age 10 where I was paid in flying time. I met my wife Penny at Pacific University in nearby Forest Grove and set out on a life of adventure as a graphic artist and radio broadcaster. Our broadcasting careers eventually carried Penny and me to North Carolina, Wisconsin and Washington, D.C. before we finally landed in Georgia. Through all the twists and turns in our lives, we came to genuine faith and were blessed with three beautiful sons. I received my calling to ministry in 2003, was ordained in 2014 and became part of the MC3 Church family in 2017. It would be my pleasure to personally welcome you to MC3, so stop by the Worship Tech area sometime as I'd be happy to serve up a cup of coffee and show you around!
