Build to Last
In "Rich Dad, Poor Dad," the author says most people don't build a strong financial foundation, and references building a skyscraper on a six-inch slab. The same principle applies to our spiritual lives. This series is designed to help us set our spiritual foundation stories deep, so that we can build to last.

We want to build a strong Community of believers that will encourage one another, pray for one another and serve alongside one another. But no one person or one minister can make this happen. It takes ALL of us working and serving together in unity to build a strong congregation. Join us Sunday as we unpack the importance of building a strong community.

In the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad, the author mentions that most people don't build a strong financial foundation, and he references building a skyscraper on a six-inch slab. The same principle applies to our own spiritual lives. Are we building on a shallow foundation or is our spiritual foundation stories deep?
Jesus says something similar in Matthew 7: "Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock."
This Sunday we will launch a sermon series designed to help us set our spiritual foundation stories deep, so that we can build to last.
