How Is Your Faith? Have you ever done a “Faith Check?" Or better yet: Has God ever performed a “Faith Check” on you?

You may wonder, “What’s a faith check?” A “faith check” is a personal soul-search that helps us evaluate the strength of our personal faith in the Lord. Paul actually encouraged the believers in Corinth to perform a faith check, saying, “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?“ (2 Corinthians 13:5) Join us as we pop the hood and examine the inner workings of our faith.

Do you love God’s Word? Do you love to read God’s Word? When you read His Word, do you feel a sense of comfort and peace wash over you? Is His Word truly a “Lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path?” This week we will not only take a hard look at the veracity of the Bible, but we will also strive to stir up within us a hunger for God and His Word.

When you send your kids off to college or the military, on their own . . . they will have to deal with this storm . . . They have to answer the question that all of us have had to wrestle with (or still wrestle with) at some point in time or another . . . Is there a God?  What is He like?  Does He care about me?  And, What does He require of me?  In other words . . . 

What is the evidence for God?  How do we know that God exists?
