The Training

What does it take to pass the torch of faith? Discipleship is simply spiritual coaching—helping someone take their next step closer to Jesus. As our sermon series on training for godliness comes to a close, join ustto see our kids step up to lead the service and learn how you can help train the next generation for ministry.

What kind of legacy are you building for the generations you may never even meet? A simple family heirloom points to a much bigger picture: the lasting spiritual impact we leave behind for those who come after us. Join us as we explore how rolling up our sleeves to serve today creates a faith foundation for tomorrow.

Ever feel like you’re just going through the motions, checking off religious boxes while your heart is somewhere else entirely? There is a massive difference between doing something because you have to and serving out of genuine love. Join us as we discover why Jesus wants a deep, personal relationship with us—not just our good deeds.

Jesus left us a roadmap for building up the body of Christ. He taught His disciples this method for the three-plus years He spent with them. Just before He ascended into heaven, Jesus made this method clear in Matthew 28; it was their/our marching orders. In Acts 2, the disciples employed this method with the 3,000 new Christ-followers. Today’s message puts the process under a magnifying glass as we investigate how we can follow that same method and truly build up the church by making disciples.

Faith isn’t meant to be passive—it’s meant to be lived out. This Sunday, we’re talking about sharing our faith and helping others discover new life in Christ. Grab your spiritual protein powder and creatine: it’s time to build up the Body!
