VI21ON
After the chaotic craziness of 2020, we’re going back to the basics in 2021 as we continue to seek the ONE who needs Christ in our community and world. We want to help all of us become more fully devoted to Christ.

We follow a lot of different people and things, from sports figures, self-help experts, chefs, comedians, and even trick-shot artists. We are all followers, following something or someone. This Sunday, we will unpack the vision we have at MC3 to not only REACH THE ONE, but to teach them to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. Join us as we discuss what it really looks like to follow Jesus.

It's not enough to just Reach the One for Christ, but as we are told in Matthew 28:20, we also need to Teach the One to follow Christ. This is a part of the discipleship process. This Sunday, we will look at how the early church did this and how important it is for us to teach others to Celebrate, Connect and Commit.

In Luke 15, Jesus eats and spends time with tax collectors and sinners. They were the kind of people that the religious elite of Jesus' day saw as "Less Than."
As Jesus heard their mutterings, He shared three stories intended to show how much God values all people, especially those who are lost. This Sunday, we will unpack Jesus' story of the lost sheep and how we can embrace MC3's vision to REACH THE ONE who needs Christ in our community and world.

Our first sermon series for the year is VI21ON and we're starting with a message called “Simple Gospel” based on 1 John 3:23.
As the early church grew, so did false teachers and false doctrines. It was a confusing time for many people. What were they to believe? How were they to decipher what was real and what was false, especially since the Bible as we know it had not yet been written?
This is why the letters from the Apostles to the scattered churches became so important. And in one of those letters, the Apostle John wrote one of the best and simplest descriptions of the Gospel. He wrote in 1 John 3:23, "And this is his commandment: We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us."
