Paul says in Ephesians 2:8, " For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." This Sunday we will look at the incredible grace of God. We unpack the reality that we didn't do anything to earn His grace, but that it is simply an investment in us based on His boundless love. Ultimately we will discover that this investment is meant to be shared with our neighbors.
This Sunday we will unpack Jesus' prayer for us in John 17. Jesus prays, " I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me." Jesus could have prayed for a lot of things, but He chose to pray for unity. What we will discover this week is that a unified church, driven by vision, can be a powerful evangelistic tool. Join us this Sunday as we continue to think "exponentially."
This Sunday we will begin a brand new sermon series centered on reaching the one who needs Christ in our community. The word exponential means to grow or rise at a steady or rapid rate; this is what we want to do with the life-changing message in our community. This Sunday we will forward into the fields that are white unto harvest and ask ourselves, "How can MC3 make a difference?" Don't forget to bring 2 dishes to share for our meal immediately following services this Sunday.
