#BestNewsEver
The story of Easter is the best news ever. In this story we see the worst of man, but the best of God. Over the course of 3 weeks, we will track our betrayal of Jesus. If we are honest with ourselves, all of us have played the role of Judas Iscariot from time to time, all of us deserved death. Yet, Jesus willingly went to the cross for all our sins, all our denials, and all of our betrayals. But the greatest news of all is the resurrection of Jesus. Because Jesus defeated death, we, by accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, have defeated death too.

This Sunday, we will celebrate the best news ever, the resurrection of Jesus. As some of the women were at the tomb that early morning to add more spices to the body, they saw an angel that exclaimed in Luke 24:5-6, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!" What an incredible response! We will follow his advice and look for the Living Savior. Join us as we celebrate a risen Jesus.

This Sunday, we will walk through the scriptures and see how the sacrifice of Jesus was being revealed to man since the Genesis story. The death of Jesus on the cross had to take place for our sins to be cleansed. Isaiah the prophet proclaimed in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." Join us as we discover why it really is a Good Friday and why it really is the Best News Ever!
