This Sunday we will wrap-up our sermon series by unpacking what it really means to abide in prayer.
We will unpack the importance of prayer in our walk with the Lord. What we will ultimately discover is that prayer is simply being in the Lord's presence: speaking to Him, hearing from Him, and abiding with Him.
We continue in our study of John 15 this Sunday, and what we will discover is Jesus' encouragement for us to continue to abide in Him. Jesus knew that the road would be tough. In John 15:19, he says, "If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” This Sunday, we will unpack what it truly means to abide, no matter what comes our way.
We begin a new sermon series centered on the key passages found in John 15 and 16. In these passages, Jesus instructs us to stay connected to Him, using the analogy of a grapevine and its branches. This Sunday we will unpack what it means to "Abide" in Jesus and how this one simple act can bear much fruit.
